BINTULU: Cops here on Friday detained three individuals, including a woman, suspected for their involvement in breaking into an office at Jalan Sultan Iskandar here.
Bintulu police chief Superintendent Zulkipli Suhaili when contacted yesterday confirmed that the suspects are aged from 27 to 39 year-old.
“The trio was arrested during ‘Ops Pintu’ held on Friday at 3.15pm at Jalan Kemunting,” said Zulkipli.
He said the case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for house breaking.
During the raid, police also found and seized stolen items worth RM15,000.
Amongst the items were several drill machines and cement cutters.
The suspects are currently under police custody to assist with investigation.
