BINTULU: Three drivers sustained minor injuries following a collision involving three vehicles along Jalan Utama Johari Sunam, Taman Tinggi early this morning (Apr 28).
Firefighters from Bintulu station, along with police and paramedics, were dispatched to the scene about 7km away, after receiving a distress call at 2.54am.
The accident involved a Perodua Axia, a Perodua Viva and a Toyota Hilux.
The team had to extricate the Viva driver from his vehicle as he was trapped in his seat, while the other two drivers managed to exit their vehicles unaided.
All of the drivers, whose identities were not disclosed, received on-site treatment from paramedics.
The rescue operation concluded at 4.17 am once the situation was deemed safe.
