SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii donated three more adjustable beds to help ease the burden of bedridden patients.
Recent recipients were Awangku Suhaimi Awangku Mashor, 48, senior citizens Poi Leong Seng, 79, at Bunga Raya Road and Tiong Chiong Kai, 87, at Sungai Pasi.
All three of them now require full care of their family members.
Repok Service Centre staff handed over the donated beds to the recipients yesterday.
At the same time, they also helped with the installation of the beds.
The donation is one of Huang’s approaches to help Repok residents, especially those who are ill and in poor health.
To date, the representative has donated over 100 adjustable beds to needy people.
He hoped the donations would help ease the burden of the recipients and their families.
“I always pray that the patients will recover soon. Hopefully this contribution will reduce their burden,” Huang said.
