KUCHING: Three rural transformation programme (RTP) projects have been completed in the Tanjung Datu constituency.
“With the completion of the projects, the facilities will benefit the locals as well as the development in the area as a whole,” said its assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu.
She said this during the handover of the projects at the three project sites in Kampung Semunin Cina, Stunggang Melayu Baru and Kampung Meriyu Lundu today.
Among the completed projects is the building of drainage system in Kampung Semunin Cina, Lundu.
This was implemented by Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) and contractor MOIS Bersatu Enterprise with an allocation of RM 300,000.
Meanwhile in Kampung Stunggang Melayu, a cement pathway was built and was implemented by DID and contractor Sanction Infinity Contractors Sdn Bhd with an allocation of RM 250,000.
At the same time, the same department also implemented a retaining wall at Kampung Meriyu Lundu along with contractor Saini & Sons Trading with an allocation of RM 100,000.
