MUKAH: Three students of Mukah Mara Junior Science College (MRSM) obtained straight A’s in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2019 examination.
Ainul Mardhiah Roslan, Dillon Myron Robinson and Felecia Jessie Nagie Lucas each scored 9As.
The college also maintained its record when all 130 candidates who sat for the examination obtained A+ in Visual Arts Education for the third year running.
However, the college’s Average Grade recorded a drop from 3.30 in 2018 to 3.85 last year in which the higher grade average point reflects a decline in performance.
Mukah MRSM principal Zuraida Zaidi accepted the result with open heart.
“The teachers have sacrificed a lot and I thank them for their contributions,” she said in the college’s Whatsapp account Badan Muafakat. Zuraida hoped that parents would always give continuous support to the teachers and MRSM for the benefit of all parties
