KUCHING: A woman and two of her passengers survived a collision when their car crashed into a lorry along Jalan Datuk Stephen Yong, Batu Kawa on Monday (Dec 21).
The State Fire Department operations centre said they received an emergency call around 10.35am and despatched nine firemen to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found the damaged car by the side of the road and proceeded to extricate the trapped driver and her passengers from the vehicle.
All three victims were handed over to the paramedics for further treatment and are now in stable condition.
The lorry driver was unharmed in the accident.
Police and army personnel were present to direct the traffic flow at the scene.
