MIRI: Residents of Taman Jelita, a housing estate here, will have their own indoor integrated community centre in future.

The RM6 million project, built on an eight-acre piece of land, is fully funded by the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) government.

It will be equipped with recreational facilities such as a playground, high speed internet connectivity and a mini police kiosk.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg officiated at the earth-breaking ceremony of the project last Wednesday

Taman Tunku residents, met at the earth-breaking ceremony, welcomed the construction of the indoor integrated community centre.
