BAU: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth is making full use of the TikTok application to reach out to young voters in the state.

Its deputy chief Miro Simuh said he personally had also made many TikTok videos.

“We fully utilise all the social media mediums including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Group and the latest, TikTok,” he said after receiving a visit from Mas Gading Community College director Shirley Philip at the Serembu Service Centre in Siniawan here on tuesday (Nov 23).

Miro added so far, young voters were able to accept and liked the use of TikTok and other social media.

The Serembu incumbent also admitted that social media was the latest method of campaigning after looking at the recent Melaka State Election due to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that did not allow public talks and so on.

Miro did not deny that his party had social media cybertroopers but he stressed that they would not slander their opponents.

“We will refute what they (cybertroopers of the opposition party) said through the right means such as fulfilling promises to the people,” he said.
