SIBU: Racial harmony and mutual respect are among the unique hallmarks of Sarawak.

The Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to China, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said this has given Chinese culture room to flourish and the people to pass it on to their descendants.

“Because of this, the Sarawak Premier appreciates the efforts of the Foochow community in building their community park and is allocating three acres for it.

“This is because the Premier appreciates the value of racial harmony,” he said when officiating at the ground breaking for the construction of the Sibu Foochow Park in Jalan Gambir here today.
