By MAYA GREEN
Just like the nature of light
The truth can’t always be hidden
Not for long, being hidden from sight
For, to always shine out, is a given
You cannot put away the light
Tucked under the bushel
Nor brush aside the truth’s might
Just like you do an unwanted morsel
But don’t always take for the truth
All that is broadcasted
In the inherent slant, lies untruth
And a hidden prejudice, is forecasted
So listen closely, listen you well
Not just with your ears
But with your entire being as well
So you’ll lighten up, all the darkness
