MIRI: In a heart-stopping incident at Miri Times Square, a two-year-old boy found himself trapped inside his mother’s car on a scorching Sunday afternoon.

The boy is reunited with his mother.

The ordeal unfolded moments after the mother placed her son in the car, only to realise, to her horror, that the door had inexplicably locked as she moved to the driver’s side.

For approximately ten agonising minutes, the toddler was left trapped inside the sweltering vehicle as concerned bystanders scrambled to find a solution.

Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) was swiftly summoned to the scene at 12.58 pm to aid in the rescue operation.

Using a combination of wire and a ruler, APM personnel delicately manoeuvred to unlock the car door, eventually freeing the distressed child from his stifling confinement.

Thanks to the quick response of the emergency team, the toddler emerged unharmed from the harrowing ordeal.
