KUCHING: Borneo Mobility Sarawak Sdn Bhd has unveiled the All-New Toyota Veloz 1.5, a 7-seater premium crossover with the highest specification and sophisticated technologies.

With a bold and confident design that supports the Toyota Veloz’s premium image, this family-friendly vehicle also offers the interior space of a larger MPV with adjustable seating options for greater comfort for the entire family.

“We are excited to announce the much-anticipated launch of the All-New Toyota Veloz which has seen the popularity of the premium crossover soar and become one of the top selling BMPV for Toyota in the region.

“With excellent build quality, advanced features and a spacious interior, we envision giving families a sense of adventure and excitement each time they step into the car by delivering the best driving experience coupled with a premium look both inside and out,” said UMW Toyota Motor president Ravindran K.

According to its press release, the vehicle is a step up from the Toyota Avanza in the Malaysian B-segment MPV market, having sold over 178,000 units since its introduction in 2004, promising a more comfortable drive with the new front-wheel drive (FWD) platform and suspension for superior handling even on rugged terrains or with multiple passengers.

“With a Pre-2 Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Departure Prevention and Lane Keeping Control (LKC) among other safety features, every drive is enhanced with the excitement of venturing into the world with loved ones.

“Drivers also have the liberty to experience three different driving styles with the ECO, Normal and Power mode to suit a variety of driving conditions and moods, keeping every moment of the drive exciting,” it said.

It also comes with an Electric Parking Brake (EPB) contributing to an effortless drive whether in stop-and-go traffic conditions or while waiting at the traffic light.

Future-proofing is the name of the game with the premium 7-seater crossover featuring a “Qi” charging pad, ensuring that as wireless charging technology becomes more popular, the Toyota Veloz is equipped with the required technology to enable drivers and passengers to seamlessly remain connected especially on long road trips.
