BINTULU: A teenage girl suffered leg injuries after being involved in a mishap in front of Kidurong Club, yesterday afternoon.

Firefighters try their best to remove the trapped victim.

Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department chief Wan Kamaruddin Wan Ahmad said they received a report of the accident at 1.58pm involving an 18-year-old girl who was still trapped in a Perodua Myvi vehicle.

“When the fire brigade arrived at the scene, the operations commander reported a crash involving a black Perodua Myvi vehicle and there was a victim still stuck in the vehicle. No other vehicle was involved.

“The fire brigade used rescue tools to rescue the victim from the vehicle with the victim was then handed over to the ambulance for further action,” he said.

Members from the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) then left the scene after completing the rescue tasks.
