KUCHING: Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd aims to continue working closely with relevant agencies and the community to deliver better and quality waste management services.

Its deputy group chief executive officer Elvin Wee said this after Trienekens won the 9th Sarawak Chief Minister’s Environmental Award (CMEA) 2019/2020 Large Enterprise (Services Sector) category.

“Trienekens is deeply honoured to receive this prestigious award.

“It is a significant achievement that highlights our company’s strong commitment and ongoing dedication towards a clean and healthy Sarawak.

“This win is also a reflection of the close cooperation between Trienekens and stakeholders, including the various government agencies, customers and business associates.”

Wee further said in this increasingly environmentally-conscious world, businesses had a growing ethical and moral obligation to protect the environment.

“We at Trienekens have always worked along this objective — by ensuring our business operations are environmentally sound, promoting green practices to our team members and encouraging our business associates, including our contractors, suppliers and customers, to do the same.”
