KUCHING: Three unemployed men aged between 17 and 39, who behaved in suspicious manners, were arrested yesterday morning in a house at Kampung Sibuluh here.
Bau police chief DSP Poge Nyaon said acting on information received, the police went to the unnumbered house.
Upon seeing the police, the trio tried to flee.
They were later arrested and the police found two transparent small plastic packages containing syabu weighing 0.52g in the house.
Poge said the trio were arrested for possession of drugs under Section 12 (2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and two of them for Section 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 after tested positive for drugs. One of the suspects has a history of past conviction.
All three were detained for further investigation.
