PADAWAN: Three men were nabbed by police for possessing drugs worth RM3,500 in a house at RPR Taman Sri Cahaya, Batu Kawa Tondong last Sunday evening (June 21).

Padawan district police chief Supt Aidil Bolhassan said that the arrest was made by a team of Padawan Police Narcotics Crime Investigation Division around 5.30pm.

The team raided the house and found three men aged 18 to 23 sitting in a room; they were suspected to be involved in substance abuse.

“Further inspections found a blue metal box containing four medium sized transparent plastic packets and 11 blue plastic packets containing crystalline substances believed to be syabu.

“The drugs, which weighed 55.50g and had a street value of RM3,500, were seized as evidence,” Aidil said in a statement.
