Meeting with truck volunteers on the ‘Giving Hope, Sharing Love’ project.

KUCHING: In the midst of gearing up for their annual charity project ‘Giving Hope, Sharing Love’ (GHSL), Hope Place Kuching are looking for volunteers who are willing to drive 4×4 trucks for the expedition.

This year, the charity expedition is going to four longhouses in Lingga and Sri Aman, where the team will be providing food aid, healthcare and hair dressing services.

GHSL will start on April 18 and the convoy will start from Kuching and 20 trucks are expected to participate in the two-day project.

The charity expedition also includes a one-hour jungle trekking to reach two of the longhouses.

All expenses for 4×4 trucks like petrol, maintenance and repairs are to be covered by the volunteering truck drivers themselves.

Registration for 4×4 truck drivers is free and the closing date is on March 31. For more inquiries or to register, contact Michael Chin at 016-6439878.
