KANGAR: The Tuanku Syed Putra (TSP) Stadium track here will be open to the public for exercise in line with the “Sports for All” programme.

Perlis State Sports Council director Mohd Rusfaizal Mohd Radzi said the public can use the track for free every weekend from 7am to 11am beginning tomorrow.

“This period is suitable for undertaking sporting activities like running, jogging, walking and warm-up exercises.

“For a start we are opening only the track while the other facilities will be made available to the public in stages,” he said here recently.

He said the 400-metre track would give its users a new experience in doing their exercise routines as it is of championship standard.

He advised the public to abide by the regulations, including wearing sports shoes, when using the track. – Bernama
