KUCHING: TVS will once again be providing a platform through Pitch-It 2021 in its bid to encourage local talents to pitch their ideas.

TVS chief executive officer Suhaimi Sulaiman said it is an opportunity for all to develop the creative content industry, create jobs and make the industry a major contributor to the economy.

In saying this, he pointed out that it is time to produce content not just for local consumption, but also for the export market.

“The mere mention of Sarawak will automatically bring to mind its lush rainforests, wildlife, spirit of patriotism and diversity through its multi-ethnic groups.

“What a better way to capture the beauty that is Sarawak if not through entertainment contents such as documentaries, magazines, drama series, telemovies, feature films, game shows and reality shows!

“Moreover, it is encouraged that these contents are produced in local dialects,” he said in a statement on Monday (July 19).

Suhaimi stated that the previous Pitch-It session had overwhelming response which drives TVS to search and discover more local content creators in providing fresh and inspiring contents.
