KAPIT: Sarawak Dayak National Union Song branch and Kelab Gagung Sarawak (KGS) have received a received a grant of RM20,000 and RM10,000 respectively.

Katibas State Assemblyman Datuk Ambrose Blikau Enturan announced this at a pre Gawai Dayak gathering organised by SDNU Song branch last Friday.

For SDNU Song branch, the grant was to finance the hosting of a pre-Gawai Dayak for Song district while for KGS the grant is for carrying out its activities that has been planned for the year.

Present at the function were Blikau’s wife Datin Marie Therese Mathias Blikau.

Song District Officer Jackline August, SDNU Song branch chairman Leo Mamba Simpang, chairperson of Sarakup Indu Dayak Sarawak (SIDS) Song Simbah Enggong, Kapit District Council secretary Jabang Juntan, Song education officer Duncan Luta, head of the various government departments, community leaders and guests.
