Two found in possession of dubious motorbikes arrested

SERIKIN: Military personnel here arrested two local residents found with two motorcycles that did not have documents when they attempted to pass through a restriction that was being held at SJR Post in Serikin Camp to the Indonesian border on Thursday.

According to the spokesperson of the First Malaysian Infantry Division based on early information, the suspects, aged 23 and 30, had been paid RM2,500 to bring the motorcycles to the border (Jagoi Babang, Indonesia).

These two Malaysian citizens with the seized items were taken to the Bau Police Station at 1.30pm on same the day.  The value of both motorcycles, namely of the Yamaha FZ 150 and Yamaha LC 150 models, was estimated to be RM12,000.
