State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a distress call on the 8.49pm accident and despatched a team of firefighters from the Sri Aman fire station to the scene.

The firefighters found the lorry, which was carrying chicken manure, had crashed to the side of the road while going downhill.

It was reported that the 52-year-old driver, who was trapped in his seat, was later rescued by passers-by, while a passenger, 22, managed to get out of the lorry.
