KUCHING: A motorcyclist was injured in an accident at Mile 6 Jalan Penrissen here yesterday morning.
The incident occurred at the traffic light intersection at around 9.00am when the motorcycle the victim was riding collided with a car.
As a result of the collision, he was thrown off the machine and landed on the ground face down.
An ambulance was called to the scene and the victim who sustained arm and facial injuries was later taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a coffee shop worker was injured after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at Jalan Canna here yesterday afternoon.
The victim was travelling along the road when he failed to stop the machine and rammed the rear of the car that was about to turn into a junction.
The victim who lost consciousness after falling off the motorcycle was taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.
