MIRI: Two men were injured in a two-vehicle collision at a traffic light at Jalan Luak Bay here today.

A team from Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) was despatched to the scene after they received a call at 7.15am.

According to the chronology of the case, the collision happened due to one of the motorcyclists running a red light.

Upon checking, it was reported that the 39-year-old victim had a wound on his eyebrow, while the second victim, an 18-year-old, broke his right leg and had a wound on his face.

The team did initial treatment for the victims before sending them to the Miri Hospital for further treatment.

The operation ended at 7.51 am.
