SERIAN: Narcotics police arrested two men and a woman on suspicion of engaging in drug activities at different locations here on Tuesday (Nov 23).
Serian OCPD DSP Aswandy Anis, who confirmed the case, said the suspects, who are aged between 22, 26 and 31, tested positive for drugs.
The first arrest took place at an unnumbered house at Kampung Taee where police detained a man and a woman for inspection.
“It led to the seizure of a straw tube and a plastic packet containing crystalline lumps believed to be syabu, weighing 1.10g and a market value of around RM300.
“Meanwhile, the second arrest happened at Kampung Hulu Lorong 2 where a man was arrested on suspicion of substance abuse.”
All three suspects along with the drugs were brought to the police station for further action.
The cases are being investigated under Section 12(2) and Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
