Firemen free injured victims from pickup truck.

LIMBANG: Two men were fortunate to escape with minor injuries after a car crash on Jalan Bakul on yesterday.

According to a spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department, the Limbang station received a distress call around 11.10pm and quickly sent firemen to the scene.

Upon arrival, they discovered that a pickup truck had crashed into a pipe at the side of the road.

Luckily, both the driver and his passenger were not trapped inside the vehicle. The firemen safely removed them from the scene.

The victims, aged 33 and 31, received first aid from paramedics at the scene before being rushed to Limbang Hospital for further medical attention.

Once it was determined that the situation was safe, the team completed their operation and returned to the fire station.
