MIRI: A team from the Miri Criminal Investigation Department (CID) detained two local men yesterday morning in connection with a stolen motorcycle report sometime in April this year.
The duo, aged 17 and 28, was allegedly involved in a house breaking incident earlier this month at Ocean Park here.
According to sources, the suspects were picked up at two separate locations in Kampung Lusut during an operation led by Inspector Fredly Juing between 3am and 4am.
One of the suspects later led the CID personnel to a bush along the Miri-Bintulu Road where they discovered and retrieved a motorcycle frame, believed to be that of the stolen motorcycle reported missing in April.
Both suspects are currently being detained by the police at the Miri Central Police Station for
questioning.
