MIRI: Two peat fires were detected on Friday night near Vista Perdana and New South Lake in Permyjaya.
Bomba teams have been deployed to the areas to help contain the fires after receiving alerts from the public at 8.30pm.
“Yes, we have received an alert from the public on the fires,” said Miri Fire and Rescue Department chief Supt Law Poh Kiong.
