Two PTAs receive RM15,000 each

SARATOK: RM30,000 has been approved for two primary schools in the district.

Saratok MP Datuk Ali Biju said SK Engkabang, Plassu and SK Lubok Nibong would receive a sum of RM15,000 each.

“I have approved an initial allocation of RM15,000 to cover expenses for activities planned by the Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) of SK Lubok Nibong.

“Meanwhile, another RM15,000 is to cover expenses for activities planned by the PTA of SK Engkabang, Plassu throughout the year.

“I am also prepared to donate additional funds to buy chairs and desks for new classrooms,” he said in a statement on Facebook on Sunday.

Ali recently attended the Gawai Raya and Ngiling Bidai ceremony hosted separately at the two schools.
