KUCHING : Two siblings aged 13 and 18 were injured after the motorcycle they were riding rammed a car parked near the road side at Bandar Baru Semariang near here at 1pm last Monday.

The impact of the collision caused the younger sibling who rode pillion to be unconscious while the older sibling fractured his legs.

It was believed that the older sibling took his father’s motorcycle to ride around in the housing area. He was then ferrying his younger sibling and was trying to overtake a car but the motorcycle went out of control before it rammed a car parked by the road side. The impact of the collision caused the two siblings to be flung from the motorcycle.

An ambulance later took the two injured siblings to Sarawak General Hospital.
