MIRI: Head of the State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday presented cheques worth RM60,000 to three mosques in Bekenu.
Each mosque received RM20,000.
The simple handing over ceremony was held after Tun Taib performed the Friday prayer at one of the mosques.
Also present was Assistant Minister of Women, family and Childhood development RoseyYunus.
