KUCHING: Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, recently welcomed a delegation from Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) for a courtesy visit.

Led by DBP director-general Dr Hazami Jahari, the delegation’s objective was to extend an invitation to Wan Junaidi to attend the Youth Forum Cup in June as well as the Sarawak Literary Awards scheduled for later this year.

Additionally, DBP extended an invitation to Wan Junaidi to the National Oratorical Lecture, to be held at the Kuala Lumpur headquarters, focusing on the book titled ‘Evolution of Parliament,’ authored by Wan Junaidi and published by DBP.

Expressing gratitude for the invitations, Wan Junaidi consented to attend all the events. He also shared insights on language as the foundation of unity and self-identity reinforcement, along with his perspectives on law and the constitution, which will be featured in the forthcoming Syarahan Negarawan series.
