KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday received two courtesy calls at the Astana Negeri.
The first call was by the State’s Branch of the Malaysian Diabetic Association Committee led by its chairman Dr. William Voon.
It was made with the aim of appointing Tun Pehin Sri Taib as the Patron of State’s Branch of the Malaysian Diabetic Association Committee.
Right after that, Tun Pehin Sri Taib received another courtesy call by delegates of the Fakulti Pengajian Bahasa dan Pengajian Komunikasi(FPBPK) or the Language and Communication Studies Faculty of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) led by its Dean Prof Dr Ambighapathy Pandian.
