UCA Sarikei takes delivery of newly-completed RM60,000 carpark

SIBU: The construction project for the RM60,000 Wisma UCA carpark at Repok funded by the 2023 Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) has been completed.

Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii officially handed over the project to the United Chinese Association (UCA) of Sarikei Division yesterday (Dec 27).

Huang, who is the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Sustainability and Sarikei MP, appreciated the cooperation of all parties who ensured the smooth execution of the project.

He also thanked the contractors involved for completing the project on schedule and for adhering to the work standards set by the implementation and monitoring agencies overseeing the project.

The site handover ceremony was witnessed by Kapitan Ling Dien Yong, representing Huang, who facilitated the transfer of the site to representatives from the United Chinese Association (UCA) of Sarikei Division.

Also present were UCA representative Penghulu Ley Kok Lun and Kapitan Lau Hieng Moon; Sarikei District Council (MDS) chairman Wong Zee Yeng, MDS assistant engineers Mohammad Reza Rapaiee and Mohamad Hisham Hamdin.
