KUCHING: The secretary-general of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Ministry Datuk Zainal Azman Abu Seman yesterday paid a courtesy call on Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, who is also the Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Minister at the latter’s office here in Wisma Bapa Malaysia.
During the brief meeting, they exchanged views on the various development programmes and plans of the state and national agriculture sectors. Zainal is in the state for an official visit.
Also present were the Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Ministry permanent secretary Awang Johari Awang Mustapha, state Agriculture Department director Dr Alvin Chai, and state Department of Veterinary Services director Dr Adrian Susin.
