UITM Sarawak Research & Industry Networking Division (PJI) recently organised the programme through its Facebook live platform on April 16.

The programme was a collaboration between Tunas Mekar Unit, Malaysian Academy of SME & Entrepreneurship Development (MASMED) Unit and the Industry, Community and Alumni Network Unit (ICAN) along with several other units.

Its objective was to enable entrepreneurs in the halal food industry to share knowledge and experience about their involvement.

“The industry is still new and opportunities are wide open to all new entrepreneurs to explore.

“It is also in line with the state government’s mission of making the state one of the halal food hubs in the region.”

Attending the webinar were entrepreneurs such as ZUEMA Enterprise managing director Normawati Hamden and Fezul Foodtech Sdn Bhd managing director Dr Zulkefli Abdul Rahim.
