Underprivileged families receive donations from TGG

KUCHING: The Kuching Trefoil Guild Girl Guide (TGG), led by its chairwoman Datin Dona Drury Wee, organised a charitable activity recently as part of the association’s efforts to alleviate the burden of marginalised families, especially during major festive seasons.

In its press statement, TGG handed out daily necessities and some amount of cash assistance to 10 families.

Groceries donated to one of the families during the TGG charitable activity.

These families include Persons with Disabilities (PwD), single mothers, and the underprivileged in conjunction of the upcoming Gawai Dayak celebration.

The donations were distributed in the Padawan areas, including Kampung Mambong, Kampung Bangau, Kampung Tabuan Rabat, Kampung Sariq, Kampung Simpok, Kampung Stabut, Kampung Kerian Teng Bukap, Kampung Sumur Benuk, Kampung Punau, and Kampung Bratan.

Members from the Meeting Needs Association, Sue Walker and Caroline also participated in this initiative.
