KOTA SAMARAHAN: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) is demonstrating its commitment to a sustainable future through the strategic utilisation of digital transformation.

The university aims to leverage digital technology to enhance education, research, and administration, aligning with governmental objectives at both the federal and state levels.

The university’s initiatives and plans, outlined by vice-chancellor Prof Dr Ahmad Hata Rasit, reflect strategic endeavours and objectives that address the evolving landscape of higher education.

The comprehensive plans, if successfully executed, position Unimas as a leading educational institution and a globally esteemed academic hub.

The announcement was made in the presence of Datuk Ahmad Nadzri Mohd Hassan, Sarawak State Federal Secretary, Datuk Seri Panglima Sulong Matjeraie (Chairman of the University Board of Directors), university management, and Unimas staff.
