KUCHING: The Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) Administrators Association (PPU) held a talk titled ‘Far Sighted and Dynamic Management in Overcoming Unexpected Crisis’ which was broadcast online on Tuesday (June 16).
The one-hour-thirty-minute talk featured Unimas registrar Azlan Ramli discussing the steps taken by the Unimas management in facing the Covid-19 public health crisis.
It was held to improve the visibility of PPU as an association which can assemble the administrators in the varsity.
Azlan said Unimas had developed various strategies to ensure that the university management continue to proceed as usual, especially when the movement control order (MCO) was imposed.
“We are thankful to have attained the cooperation from Unimas staff and that has driven us in managing this unexpected crisis.
“We also believe that in the new normal, we can help the institution in facing any changes or crisis in the future,” he said.
The replay of the talk can be viewed on the PPU social media platform on Facebook.
The association hoped that such programme could be continued in the future and with more reach to audiences as well as provide insights on issues pertaining to management of the university.
