KUCHING: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is extending an invitation to the public, especially those interested in the arts, to attend the CIPTA ‘2023 exhibition.
The event, organised by the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts (FACA), will take place from June 19 to July 28, 2023, at the FSGK Experimental Theatre and Foyer, between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm.
The CIPTA ‘2023 exhibition serves as a platform for final year students to showcase their creative works and skills in art event management. The event will feature the projects and ideas developed by final year students from all programmes in the faculty during the 2022/2023 session, which are a requirement for graduation.
This year’s exhibition revolves around the theme “Uncharted,” exploring unexplored locations and concepts in the world of art. The students’ engagement in various art forms will be highlighted, making it an exciting showcase of their talents.
The CIPTA ‘2023 exhibition will include a range of creative works and activities such as Luncheon Busking, Mental Health Awareness Theatre, Charity Closet, and Paint by Numbers Mural. These will be displayed at the faculty.
In addition to the exhibition, the faculty is organising two important events, namely FACA Open Day 2023 and iCREATE.
