KOTA SAMARAHAN: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) senior lecturer Prof Dr Anselm Su Ting has successfully obtained an incentive research grant of RM5,000 from the Yayasan Penyelidikan Otak, Minda dan Neurosains Malaysia (YPOMNM) cycle 1-2018.

Prof Ting was selected for his research titled “Determining Instruments for Fatigue Identification in Attempts to Prevent Occupational Accidents and Injuries”.

The cheque presentation ceremony was recently held at the university’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences witnessed by its dean Prof Dr Kamarudin Kana.

YPOMNM was established in 2017 by Prof Datuk Dr Jafri Malin Abdullah and Assoc Prof Dr Durriyyah Sharifah Hasan Adli with the hope that Malaysians would be more interested in the study of the brain, mind and neuroscience.

The foundation provides services, financial support, as well as clinical research laboratories and facilities to active researchers who are interested in conducting research.

The research grant will be opened every end of the year and offered openly to researchers at institutions, centres and agencies (public or private) in the country.
