BAU: Almost 100 students and teachers of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) visited Bung Bratak Heritage Centre last Saturday.

Bung Bratak Heritage Association chairman Datuk Peter Minos, who was also present during the trip, stated that the delegation had a very good time at the mountain-top Bidayuh historical-cultural centre.

A Unimas team leader said that they were thrilled to walk through the forests and jungles and enjoy the fresh mountain air and scenery.

A student said, “This is the first time I really enjoyed nature. I am a city girl and I am happy to be here.”

This year alone, many big groups had visited Bung Bratak to enjoy the beauty of nature there.

One Australian couple urged members of the public to experience the virgin jungles and tropical rain forests at Bung Bratak.

In a statement issued yesterday, Minos welcomed all enthusiasts of history, culture and nature to visit Bung Bratak and enjoy the environment there.

“Visitors can put up overnight at Bung Bratak at affordable rates which include breakfast, lunch and dinner,” he said.
