KUCHING: A man who tried to rob a convenience store in Batu Kawah yesterday afternoon found out it was not his lucky day.
A staff of the store shouted for help when confronted by the suspect. Her screams were heard by three customers in a nearby coffeeshop who quickly came to her aid and overpowered the suspect.
They tied up the would-be robber and stood guard until policemen from Batu Kawah station arrived and took him in for questioning.
