KUCHING: An unoccupied house at Jalan Foochow 2B here caught fire last Saturday (Oct 17).
According to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, a call on the incident was received at 10.13pm, and a team of firefighters of Padungan and Tabuan Jaya fire stations was deployed to the scene.
Upon arrival, the fire had damaged 30 percent of the house.
The firefighters managed to put out the flames at 11.50pm.
No casualties were reported in the incident and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
