MIRI: The ongoing upgrading works on Klinik Komuniti Desa Senadin will improve the quality of the clinic and allow it to provide more comprehensive services to over 9,000 residents in Desa Senadin.

Senadin assemblyman Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin said the existing Klinik Kesihatan Tudan was unable to accommodate the large number of patients caused by the rapid population growth in his constituency

“Desa Senadin is an area which really needs health services. This is because the facilities at Klinik Kesihatan Tudan are not adequate at the moment as the clinic was only planned to handle 600 outpatients a day.

“Currently, the data shows that in a day, over 800 patients receive treatment. This has caused congestion at the clinic,” he said after visiting the Klinik Kesihatan Senadin Baharu site yesterday (Jan 13).

Lee, who is also Transport Minister, said the upgraded clinic would provide various services such as regular treatment and mother and child treatment, in addition to having a blood laboratory and dentistry services.
