Vaccine appointments will come

KUCHING: Sarawakians are reminded to be patient and wait for their turns to be inoculated with the Covid-19 vaccines.

Senior Minister (Infrastructure Cluster) Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said the group should not be worried as everyone will be vaccinated.

“To those who are yet to be vaccinated, don’t worry. Your turns (for vaccine appointment) will come soon,” he said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

Fadillah said he is constantly monitoring the development in terms of vaccine rollout in the state.

“I was made to understand that the vaccination rate is also increasing and every effort is being done to expand it.

“All of these are being done and it is the product of the cooperation between the state and federal governments.

“Besides providing the bus service for locals to go to the vaccination centres (PPV), boats and helicopters are also deployed to ensure the vaccines can be accessed by all,” he said.

The Petra Jaya MP also assured residents affected by the quarantine order in the parliamentary constituency that aid in terms of basic needs will be delivered to their homes.

“It is hoped that with the assistance given, it will reduce the burden of the residents, God willing,” he said.
