SADONG JAYA: Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri received her second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at Sadong Jaya Health Clinic on Saturday.

The Batang Sadong MP said she chose to take the vaccine at the Sadong Jaya Health Clinic to give confidence and encouragement to the people of Sadong Jaya.

She advised members of the public not to be doubtful or be worried about the safety of the vaccine as the government had ensured the vaccines were safe and had undergone various studies by other countries.

Also inoculated on Saturday was Sadong Jaya assemblyman Aidel Lariwoo.

The divisional Health officer Dr Nur Fatihah Oh Abdullah praised Nancy for her support and hoped that her gesture will inspire and motivate more people here to come for their vaccination.

“We hope that anyone who is not confident in the safety of the vaccine will feel more confident with the support and experience demonstrated by Nancy and Aidel,” she said.

She said this support would be very useful in promoting the national vaccination programme especially for the people of Sadong Jaya.
