PADAWAN: Despite approval in February 2022, the construction of the operation room for the Village Development and Safety Committee (JKKK) in Kampung Semban here has yet to begin.

The project’s status was a key topic during a recent courtesy visit by JKKK Kampung Semban to Puncak Borneo MP, Datuk Willie Mongin.

In addition to discussing the delayed project, JKKK Kampung Semban requested funds for basic necessities for the Kampung Semban community hall within the Bengoh Resettlement Scheme (BRS) as well as support for the upcoming 2024 Jalinan Kasih Pre-Christmas programme.

The meeting further addressed concerns about internet access in the BRS area and the effectiveness of the telecommunication tower erected there.
