DALAT: Mukah Public Works Department (JKR) will be upgrading four roads at separate villages here soon for the convenience and comfort of the local people.

The projects, with a combined contract sum of RM1.2 million, are under the rural transformation programme (RTP).

The upgrading work for the 322-metres long Jalan Kampung Penat and Jalan Kampung Kekan (431.6 metres) would cost RM300,000 respectively.

For roads towards the Islamic Cemetery in Oya (39.8-metres) and Islamic Cemetery in Dalat (338.8-metres), the contract value for each is RM300,000.

Recently, Abang Hashim Zainuddin who represented Mukah MP Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib visited the sites of the yet to be upgraded projects.
