KUCHING: Mental Health Association of Sarawak (MHAS) Kuching Branch chairman Dr Gan Chee Kuan will talk live online on ‘Mental Health Care During the Covid-19 Pandemic’ this Saturday (Aug 21).
Dr Gan was invited by Kuching South City Council (MBKS) mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng to deliver the talk during the 74th ‘ShallWEETalk’ live session on the latter’s Facebook page at 1.45pm.
The pandemic has caused much worry, stress, and grief which may result in mental health challenges.
The information on mental health care shared by Dr Gan may assist some people in coping with the current situation.
As such, Wee invites residents of Kuching to join the talk. Anyone who wishes to pose questions can do so during the live session.
Among the contents of the talk are challenges during the Covid-19 pandemic, stress, self-help, mental illness, sources of help, and others.
